Chipper Day is Back!

As part of the Fire Safe Berkeley program, the Berkeley Fire Department with the support of measure

FF, is proud to sponsor the Berkeley Chipper Program. It is a FREE CITY-WIDE curbside chipping,

pickup, and disposal of vegetation material service. This program is designed to assist residents in

creating and maintaining a Defensible Space around their properties.

Chipping kicks off in mid-March and runs through early December.

How do I participate?

Step 1. Visit chipperday.com/berkeley

Participants must agree to abide by all program rules and regulations

Step 2. Make a reservation!

You MUST make a reservation to participate.

Step 3. Prepare your pile!

Your pile must be at your curb by 7 AM Monday

It will be picked up by Thursday 5 PM of the same week.
